Hey Cedric,

You can add all your CSS codes in the Custom CSS panel found at Theme Options >> General Settings >> Advanced
All your changes will be saved even when updating and you will not have to modify style.css

add the following choosing your desired color

#circleFlipFooter {
background: #242528;
}

We were not able to work on the retina logos issue till now, and to be honest it is not in our short term agenda, but I will pass it again to the team and see what we could do.
