    Hi Omar,

I am sorry to come to you with this kind of question, but I can’t find a way to install the latest CF update (I am still at 2.0.2) without loosing my current layout.

Can you please tell me how to install the update ?

    Many thanks

    Cédric

    Hello Cedric,

    No Need to apologize.

I apologize for the need of a memory refresh, did we change files together on your installation?
If all we did was within the admin panel, then you can update with no problems.

either way, a safe way would be:
    1- backup your database
2- backup your theme files (and all WP files if possible)
3- download the new files from theme forest
4- upload the new theme folder to the server
    5- activate the new theme
6- do a quick check on the website
    7- update to WP 4.3
8- do a quick test on the website

If anything appears to be broken, kindly take screenshots and report them and we’ll fix

Please let me know if you need help with any of the previous

    Cheers

    Hello Cedric,

If you didn’t find any other issues, I believe we can consider those 2 issues not critical.

I was not able to replicate those issues on our servers, so it seems I need to check it out on yours.

Kindly update again, and allow me access to your installation so that I could fix those issues for you 🙂

    Regards

    Hello Cedric,

Thank you for allowing me in.
I apologize for any inconvenience that was caused by the update.

1- The blog image you shared with me was too small, it’s 290×200, while the ideal size for the blog would be at least 1070×700 for full screen with no sidebar.
If you would like, I could set it up so that it shows the original size, and not stretch across the screen. Let me know.

2- I see that you have re-added the widgets, so please let me know if there is still a problem with that.
Note: Images disappeared from the widget “CF Recent Posts” as you don’t have featured images, and should return once you add them again.

3- I was able to load the sidebar ‘JoueClub’ on a new page, can you please let me know which page is showing this error

4- The sticky menu in mobile devices; thank you for the feedback on this bug, for now please disable sticky on mobile devices “it’s an option in the header builder” and I’ll update you with a fix soon. you won’t have to wait for another update

Please let me know if there are any more problems
    again I apologize

    Regards

    Hello Cedric,

1- You’re correct, I’ve set the featured image to show at original size.
2- The widget styles were lost, due to the change of the id and class of the widget, sorry for missing that, please replace the file at themes/circeflip/css/widgets/recent_posts.css with the file here

Please let me know how it goes

    Cheers
