    I am new to web design and am working with WordPress and CircleFlip on a mac. I cannot seem to find where I change the colors on the footer. I know how to change the theme colors but the footer seems to stay black and I would like to change it to a different color.

    If anyone knows what I’m missing please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Leuke

    Hello Leuke,

    Thanks for your topic, and sorry for the untimely reply.
    No you’ve missed nothing, there is just not an option to change the footer background color, we’ll add it in a future update 🙂

    For now you can use Custom CSS
    Go to Theme Options >> General Settings >> Advanced >> Custom CSS
    Add (for the bigger section)
    #circleFlipFooter {
    background: #565656;
    }

    for the narrow (after footer)
    .afterFooter {
    background: #939393;
    }

    Let me know if you need anything

    Omar,

    Thank you very much for your help this worked just fine. I also have one more question about the CircleFlip footer, I would like to make it more narrow, I only have one widget in it that does not contain much information and would like to know how to just make it a bit more narrow.

    Thanks again for your help,
    Leuke

    Hey Leuke,

    If by narrow you mean height, you can set the height using CSS as well.

    Can you please share the website link so that I could propose a better code?

    Omar,

    I have just been using it on the localhost and have not yet published the website, I am not sure if this is what you are asking for. If you could let me know where I can find the website link in WordPress, that would be great.

    Thank you for all of your help,
    Leuke

    Hello Leuke,

    I understand, since you’re working on localhost I will not be able to view the website.
    No need for the link, only you can access the website link.

    Anyway, you can try those 2 CSS rules
    1- remove margins from footer

    .footerList{
    margin-top: 0;
    margin-bottom: 0;
    }

    2- if that’s not enough, you can also remove padding from footer li

    .footerList li{
    padding-bottom: 0;
    }

    Hope that helps
    Cheers
