I am new to web design and am working with WordPress and CircleFlip on a Mac. I cannot seem to make the header menu tabs static. I would like them to just display a drop-down menu and not be able to be clicked since I would have nothing on the page that would be clicked on.

If someone knows how to make the header menu tabs static, please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Leuke

    Hello Leuke,

A good question for new WordPress users.

You can achieve this by adding ‘Custom Links’ and here’s how to do so

1- Go to Appearance >> Menus
2- Add a ‘Custom Link’ where the ‘URL’ will be a hashtag ‘#’
and the ‘Link Text’ will be you menu item, for example ‘About’
3- after adding to the menu, edit the menu item just added, you’ll see something like this http://goo.gl/j7krpq
4- remove the hashtag and save your menu

Please let us know if you need help with anything else 🙂

    Cheers
