    I’ve built a template within my child theme, transferring over a page that I designed in Adobe Muse. It transferred well except for the js and scroll animations. Is there something that I am missing in my template to prevent the js from working?

    Hi,

    Child Themes should work normally and override certain files only, if there is any issue please send me FTP Access so that we can check what’s wrong with the child theme

    Best Regards

    @cmccallister:

    As far as i understand what you want to achieve is to override the theme js and add yours, if so then this is not possible, the only things that can be overridden by child themes are the following:

    1- style.css
    2- functions.php
    3- template files

    So there is no direct way to override the js

    If you have any other question please let me know

    Best Regards

    I’m not trying to override the theme js. I’m just trying to add some.

    You can enqueue the files that you want inside the functions.php in the child-theme
