    I still do not know whether to love or hate circleflip.

    For three times – after several hours of work – the page does not load for editing.

    This bug is random but I verified that happens after adding or moving of columns on the page and I had to start from scratch.

    I have read this post:
    http://support.creiden.com/forums/topic/page-does-not-load-for-editing/

    in my case I’m sure I do not have problems in the parent / child hierarchy of pages.

    Now I am terrified of making changes because there is a risk of losing the page.

    Notice that I have already increased Increase max_input_vars to 10000.

    Are there solutions ?

    Regards.

    Hello Maxgei,

    Sorry for your troubles so far.
    Please let me know more details,
    Does the page give the message “are you sure you want to leave? etc…”?
    or Does the blocks grey out after you add a new one “after dragging it from the top panel to the bottom editing panel”?

    What WP version are you using.

    If possible please allow me a temp admin access so that I could create a new page and try to replicate the issue.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

    There is no message. Simply remains locked in hourglass in an very long loop.

    At the end, if is loaded, the page is locked and – sometimes – crashed.

    Unfortunately I can not give instructions to replicate the error because, as I wrote, this bug is random. It happens randomly on the pages with medium complexity after adding or moving of a column or a block.

    Regards

    Hello Maxgei,

    It seems like a php memory limit issue,
    Please try adding the following to your wp-config.php

    define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );
    define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’ );

    Let me know if that did it.

    Regards

    Hi,

    I added the following in wp-config.php
    define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’256M’ );
    define( ‘WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ’256M’ );

    nothing has changed.

    Hello Maxgei,

    I’ve reactivated the plugins and was able to edit the page,
    But I believe your edit to the wp_config.php wasn’t successful,
    Please try adding the code again, and check that the single quotes ” are correct, I am afraid copying from here may have copied the wrong character,

    Please try copying the code below instead of the one before “note that the quotes are not formatted”

    define( 'WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );
    define( 'WP_MAX_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M' );

    Regards

    Hello Maxgei,

    Sorry I missed that on your earlier message.
    Is that the only page that’s doing this looping error?

    If so, there must be something that got saved incorrectly.

    Regards

    Hi,

    I do not think that this answer is satisfactory.

    As I wrote the page work properly until I added or moved some elements using you “Content Builder”.

    This bug has already happened on two pages and now I’m terrified to change something.

    I hope you can understand that it is really frustrating.

    Regards.

    Hello Maxgei,

    Sorry if offended you with the answer, I apologize.

    I just was testing on the Default Twenty Fifteen Theme, and as soon as I activated it I got a white Screen.
    Please provide FTP access so that I could work this out, I believe it’s more that Just the Content Builder.

    If you don’t like sharing an FTP access, please take the following action:
    Connect Via FTP.
    Navigate to themes/
    Change the name of the directory /circleflip/ to something else, like /circleflip2/
    Check the website.
    If still white;
    Please also change the name of the /twentyfifteen/
    This should revert back to the default “another WP default theme” like Twenty Fourteen.

    Please let me know and I’ll test your page with No plugins activated and one of the default themes running.

    After that we should check the Memeory limit on the server.

    Regards

    Hi,

    I am very worried. I have spent many hours of work and the site is down with White Screen of Death.

    I followed all the instructions above without getting results.

    Now I hope you are able to recover.

    Let me know asap.

    Thanks.

    Hello Maxgei,

    I revived the website with no problems.
    I found 3 issues,
    1- with the CircleFlip portfolio plugin (which was minor as it was in the name of the folder)
    2- with the builder js file aqpb3.9.js (I replaced the file)
    3- tooltip.js (I found the error in an undefined variable)

    I’ve also increased the php memory limit.

    All errors are fixed, but unfortunately the page in question above is unfix able as it was saved incorrectly due to the above errors. I apologize for that, please feel safe to edit all other pages.

    Note: due to the last wordpress update, you would have to click on the builder elements to add them instead of dragging from the top selection area to the bottom editing area.

    Regards
